Natterio

Terms of Use

Last updated: June 2026

By using Natterio (“the service”) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

About this service

Natterio is a managed platform that enables community owners to build and operate their own digital home — including content, forums, and shops. We provide infrastructure, tooling, and support; you own your community, its content, and your members' data.

As a community owner, you are the data controller for your members' personal data. Natterio acts as your data processor under Article 28 of UK GDPR. By using this platform, you enter into the data processing terms set out in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to process your members' data and for communicating your own privacy policy to them.

Accounts and subscriptions

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. A permanent free plan is available with no card required.

Paid plans are billed in advance from the date you subscribe, with no hidden charges. You may cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period and you keep access until then. We do not provide pro-rata refunds for partial billing periods unless required by law.

If you are a consumer in the UK, you have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of subscribing. By starting to use a paid feature within that period, you agree that the service begins immediately and you may be charged for the portion you have used if you then cancel.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Your content

You retain ownership of all content you create and publish through the service. By using the service, you grant Natterio a limited licence to host, serve, and display your content solely to provide the service. We do not claim any other rights over your content.

AI-generated content

Natterio uses AI to help generate your site's text, layout, and suggested images. AI output can contain mistakes, inaccuracies, or content that does not fit your needs. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving everything before you publish it, and for ensuring your published site is accurate, lawful, and does not infringe anyone else's rights. Natterio gives no warranty as to the accuracy or suitability of AI-generated content.

Intellectual property

The Natterio platform, branding, and software are owned by Natterio and may not be reproduced or reverse-engineered without permission.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, Natterio is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the service. This includes but is not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or interruption of service. We provide the service “as is” without warranties of any kind beyond those required by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
